DescriptionHaunt issue 1 pg 24 (last page splash)Pencils by Ryan Ottley Image - October 2009 From the long awaited Image collaboration, Haunt! This page is from the first issue full of first appearances and first collaborations delivering Capullo's layouts into Ottley's pencils into McFarlane's digital inks!!!! And to top it off an issue written by Kirkman! Great final splash page of Haunt standing over his first two kills. The Inks were done digitally by Todd McFarlane, which makes these pencil pages the only true original art pages. This page is a great example of how each artist put their spin on the final product with the changes in the position of the hands by Ottley and the updates to the eyes by McFarlane. I am very excited to see these 3 greats continue to develop Haunt. This piece was also published in "Art of Todd McFarlane: Devils in the Details" book and as a introductory splash to Haunt Immortal Edition hardcover! Social/Sharing |

Ottley is obviously an amazing artist... This Haunt splash is a wonderful piece. Can i be so bold as to say I'd love to see Ryan do some Marvel work. :-D

This totally oozes the edgy and pulpy comics from the 90s that they were going for - I can picture this as a poster on my bedroom wall back then.
