Avatar from Bakshi's Wizards and ElfQuest were always favorites of my friends and I. So like George Costanza combining food with sex, this is a best of both worlds piece for me! And, who better than the lovely Wendy Pini for some pre-ElfQuest elves?!

7/14/25 update: Well, no better way to find out if a piece is worth what you think it is than by trying to sell! So, now I know it’s worth more to me by staying than by selling! 🙂

This is just wonderful. I have fond memories of seeing "Wizards" in the theatre a couple of times when it came out. I'm still amazed at how much "borrowing" this did from Wally Wood's Witzend work and Vaughn Bode's.

I recently bought Wizards on DVD; this piece really captures the characters wonderfully. Congratulations on a terrific painting!
