Description

This was a sketch I picked up from Chris Gossett at the Armageddon Expo in Auckland in 2005. The really disappointing bit is when I had it framed the IDIOTS glued it to the backing board. I sprayed with a special lacquer that will prevent it from yellowing.

Wow... they both use double bladed lightsabers... is that the only reason why this picture was done????

Yeah. Basically Christian was the pencil on the tales of the Jedi comic book series. The series was in publication before Star Wars episode 1 was going to happen. Christian came up with the idea that exar kin would have this double bladed lightsaber as a Jedi who had fallen to the dark side. When I met Christian I said it would be awesome to have both characters face-off against each other in a fight with the same weapon and he drew that for me. It was one of the first pieces of original art that I ever picked up. I got it at the same convention that I got my Michael turner superman super girl piece.
