DescriptionMy goal for many years has been to own a Mignola original of my very own. So I saved up my pennies in anticipation of his appearance at DragonCon this year. He had a folder full of beautiful stuff, a lot of which was out of my range, and several nice small pieces. This one was right in the middle, and instantly grabbed my attention. I knew I'd picked a winner when Mike said "You know, that's one that I go back and forth on, whether it's for sale, not for sale..." I am beyond thrilled to have a Mignola in my collection, and I LOVE this image.PS: Thanks to Neil for confirming that this is Hecate and not Medusa. I had my suspicions, but I appreciate the correction by a wiser collector than myself! Social/Sharing |

A truly excellent start to your Mignola collection, Brent! Be careful though, because collecting Mignola art can become both very expensive very quickly and truly habit forming. :-)

Thanks, Neil, I appreciate it! Oooh, you definitely speak the truth. Just last night I caught myself perusing art sites and classifieds, thinking "Hrm...for just THIS much I could get a cover..." which is definitely dangerous! I'm afraid I may be on a slippery slope!

A fantastic aquisition Brent. BTW, it's too late for you. Now that you've picked up your first Mignola, there will be no end to the lengths you'll go to get your next one, whether it's a cover or not. So...welcome to the club! :)

Thanks Timothy! You definitely speak the truth. It has only been a week since I got this piece, but I have spent a significant amount of time since then thinking of what I can sell in order to get some more cash for Mignola art! Toys...statues...pretty much everything except the wife and our cats is fair game! (And the cats should keep their eyes open...)

Love the contrast of black and white on this piece of art. Such a great unique style and excellent use of space. I keep coming back to look at this one it's that fantastically great.
