Description

This certainly looks like a daily from the Archie comic strip February 18, 1964 down to the date and the King Features logo but it shows on the bottom and was sold as something from Jokebook April 1964. I don't know if it served both purposes or wasn't used in the strip. It's hard to imagine the latter since it is a perfectly good joke, almost the kind of thing Pearls Before Swine does.

The actual piece has good blacks, I kept it in a low contrast to show the inkwork.
