Description

To call this a prelim seems a crime.

I loved this cover before I knew who Dave Johnson was. Today, I think it's one of his finest covers. (And that says a lot considering he did the entire run of 100 Bullets.)

The finished painted cover is on CAF. I've never inquired about it, but I know it's out of my price range. So when The Rev's art dealer told me he had the pencil prelim for sale, I jumped on it.

To make it even better, Dave added more detail to the Kid. Can't wait to get this one up on the wall. Happy birthday to me.
