Oh, MY god !!!! This cover & story was slated as an INVENTORY story. Boy am I GLAD that this got published !!! I just wish that someone could have convinced Michael to do more than 1 issue !

THE best Star Wars issue ever and a great Golden example! There's been this rumor going around that Golden was destroying his work ( ala Ditko) for years but strangely his work seem to pop up in art collections more and more......Anyway, a true GEM!

...a little hard to recall in retrospect, but this issue was HATED by the fans in 1980. Shows what they knew, eh? (In their minimal defense, most of the ire was directed at Marvel for, without announcement, delaying the Much-Awaited Al Williamson adaption of Empire Strikes Back by one month. This issue was a surprise fill-in story.)
