Description

I found this little gem on ebay. Its the original art for the Rainmaker card (#GL-3) from the 1995 Gen 13 trading card set. The card itself was a special, chrome and glow-in-the-dark card. I was surprised that the actual art takes up a fairly large portion of the 11"x17" comic page and is nicely centered. The inks by McWeeney were very well done as well.

Outstanding acquisition! I love the old Wildstorm cards, and this is one of the cooler ones from this set. I remember losing an auction for the original art to the Burnout card from this same subset years ago on Ebay. Wish I would have seen this one was up! Congrats!

Stunning!! Full of dynamic drama... but trading card art usually is. That's why they are so fantastic to own. Terrific addition, huge congrats! :)

This is wonderful! So many people get caught up in the whole Lee/Williams thing (rightfully so), but forget that a lot of other people have done some killer work with Jim, too. Congrats and thanx for posting up.

Maybe I didn't read enough Gen 13, but I don't remember Rainmaker getting to show off as much as I wanted her to. This trading card art, though. THIS shows off Sarah's power in style. Jim LEE style! Beautiful work.
