This is an original ink / pen comic cover plate created in the 1960s for the series entitled "Karl the Viking". Considering that this piece is over 50 years old, it is in great shape. Additional photos show the item number on the bottom page and also notes written into the white border by artist Don Lawrence, including the name of the label-- Lion Comics. The borders are less yellow than they appear in the photos. I left them darker so the inks showed more clearly. These prelims are very rare and covers like this even more so. ~For Sale~
