The Rise and Fall of The Trigan Empire penned mostly by the late Mike Butterworth was a long-running Sci-Fi/Fantasy series, which was published initially in Ranger comic. The title then transferred to Fleetway’s educational comic, Look & Learn from 1966 - 1982.
