My Origin Story Illustrated
In addition to collecting comic art, I'm also a packrat when it comes to ephemera related to comic books, comic art, and animation art. Even though I sold most of the 50,000+ comic books which I collected over a 40 year period (1959-1999), I kept a few issues which were particularly meaningful to me, even though they were the worst condition comics in my collection -- due to their being overly-appreciated by me when I was very young an totally oblivious to the importance of condition.
