Myrella
DC Comics released their Dragonlance comic right around the time the gears in my head were finally clicking to the fact I like redheads. I was unfamiliar with Dragonlance then, despite being big into RPGs, but I still picked up the comics. When Myrella, a redhead whose stat block for AD&D in one issue of the comic screamed power gamer, showed up I was hooked. Over the years I’d tried to commission a number of artists to draw Myrella, but every one of them declined. Whether they don’t like illustrating fantasy characters or women rocking a mullet in the back is a mystery for the ages. It wasn’t until 2022 it finally occurred to me to try and track down her published pages, which was far easier than attempting to get commissions.
