Abbie n Slats

This strip was created by Al Capp, who initially wrote it, but always drawn by Raeburn Van Burn. It is a beautiful strip with a few pretty wonky story lines. I have a few of these strips because when I started collecting original art, a friend who collected told me to go for this. It was a good starter because a tremendous amount of them had been dumped on the market and you could get them from ten to twenty dollars. I really love the art so I picked up a good handful, but my focus has moved from it. With that said, I still pick up a strip or two when the price is right.
