Jorge Jimenez - Batman #1
After several months of waiting the new Batman #1 by Matt Fraction and Jorge Jimenez is less than two weeks away! Even better: This will be the very first opportunity to own traditional original art from Jorge! In his own words: "Hey friends! There are only days left until Batman #1 is OUT, so I’m very excited!! After such a long wait, there is nothing left! And well, while that day arrives, I wanted to tell you something, not only the cover but I also worked traditionally on some interior pages, as you all know, my entire career (almost 15 years now, 13 in DC? I never know exactly how much) has been entirely digital art, that is why on a special occasion like this Batman #1 I wanted to break away from my usual ways at least in about 4 or 5 interior pages, this one for example (First appearance of the new Batman design in interiors ever). I must admit that I have really enjoyed using traditional inks!, although I recognize that it takes too much time and it is not something that compensates me too much since my production pace is quite reduced, and the most important thing for me is to do as many issues as possible, so I will not do this type of work many more times, maybe with the covers and some other page, but definitely very rarely. Anyway, I hope you like it!! and remember, folks! Batman #1 on September 3rd in all comic book stores!! :) thanks for the support!!"
