Barks, Garé

Carl Barks was no doubt one of the world's best comic artists and certainly one of the best storytellers after Hans Christian Andersen. But he wasn't the best painter in his family. That title goes to his late wife, Garé Barks. Already an acclaimed painter when they met she became his muse. her talent as a painter inspired him to start painting. And she was working as a popular postcard artist, always doing beautiful landscapes. Her art makes me feel she same wasy I feel watching old Disney movies like Bambi.
