The Three Faces of Hal Jordan
During the early 1990's, the editors of DC Comics made dramatic changes to its Big Guns with a view to increase circulation. They killed Superman with Doomsday, crippled Batman with Bane and turned Green Lantern Hal Jordan into Parallax. They did not stop there though. Subsequently they killed Parallax and made Hal Jordan the new host of the Spectre. Darryl Banks is the artist who designed Parallax. He is also the first artist to draw the Hal Jordan version of the Spectre in the 3rd Green Lantern series. That is why I put these three pieces of artwork together in this gallery.
