The human touch that King gives to this daily, the sentiment of emotions are exactly what I love about Gasoline Alley. I love this example and all of the panels are sweet.

Great interior page from one of the best Batman stories ever. I put the Englehart/Roger/Austin run up there with the O'Neil/Adams stories, Miller/Janson, Miller/Mazzucchelli, and the Lee/Williams.

This is one of my favorite images on CAF. Clear and large making it easy to see the fluid, sensual precision of Frazetta's line. I get thrill every time that I click on this. How does it feel to look at it everyday? It must drive you crazy with joy.

Big congratulations, Ray. I love these two strips. The beautiful Honey, a tragic love story in six panels, told and crafted by the great Alex Raymond. The large scans are gorgeous, but I envy you because the strips must look so much better in person. Good for you my friend.

This page is wonderful. It expresses story and emotion with clarity and depth. The facial expressions are perfect and the body language conveys so much. How can you top Terry Austin inks on Adams? A great combination of two artists going all out.

Mark, thanks. There are definitely differing opinions on the page. A few other collectors besides yourself have told me that they like the printed version better. I can appreciate that.. The gun in the holster reminds me of the end of Hitchcock's, "North By Northwest" with the train going into the tunnel. Hey if it works for Hitch, who's to argue. I just happen to like the clarity of the uncensored version better.

I love Raymond's Flash Gordon, but I am totally with you in wanting a nice Rip Kirby daily. Raymond was great throughout his career. If you love Rip, you might like Dave Sim's Glamoupuss. In it Sim presents in depth study of Raymond's Kirby art.
