And Nick is a really nice guy too. Very professional to work with on a commission.
Thank you! And yes, I completely agree. Ian completely made this classic image his own.
Nick's run with these recent commissions has been incredible.
Nick has really been knocking these commissions out of the ballpark.
Saw this on Instagram and thought "Whoever got this just hit the jackpot!"
Congrats!
Lawson is such an underrated artist. I feel like the TMNT community appreciates him, but not the comic art world at-large. Great page.
Maybe the best dual-page splash of Duncan's run!
Thanks! His style has such a raw energy that it really drew me into the series. The run of artists this series had over their first 50ish issues was incredible.
Thank you! And yes, Nick's body of work is wildly impressive for someone so young.
Amazing piece of art. I really feel like Caitlin is about to up a tier or two over the next few years, and this commission is a good example of why I feel that way.
Such an amazing page from the series. It's rare when when you can say that about a drawing where the main character is facing away from the camera.
Fantastic example of how a simple color palette can still convey a lot.
Awesome page, man.
Incredible commission. I'm such a huge fan of Tyler's Peter Panzerfaust work. I'm hoping for a collected edition of the entire series one day.
...maybe a Artist's Edition? Ha!
There's a wonderful sense of physical and emotional weight in this page.
This is incredible. Her run on Nat,and was brief, but very memorable.
Sanford can give me sense of movement even to characters that are still. It's incredible what he can do on a small piece of paper.
Great action sequencing on this page. David Wachter is one of my all time favorite TMNT artists.
I love the energy in this page!
Dan Duncan isn't the most refined artist, but man, he brought an energy to the Turtles that few artists have been able to match since.
Great fight sequence! I think Dan Duncan's early work on this series is underrated.
When I close my eyes and think of the JSA, it's Don Kramer's art I see.
Yeah, he's with Felix Comic Art now and trying to get a page from him at an art drop is very hard. You have to be quick and have to have money. Defined worth it though when you see what he puts into every page.
Oh, wow.... heck of a Trade page you have! He's really sky rocketed into stardom now. This is a solid example of his work too. Whatever you paid for this back in 2015 was an absolute steal.
So many lesser writers would have been tempted to make that opening scene drag on for 10 pages. DWJ is so economic with her writing.
Such a great ship design. DWJ just opperates on a different level.
So many great little peaks into Bill's past in this series. Greet page!
This page was my #2 target from the drop. It's a fantastic piece of story telling by DWJ and wonderful companion piece to the page I was able to snag. Treasure it!
What a wonderful example of DWJ at his best. Congrats on having the fastest fingers/internet on this one!
Thanks! I love when a commission shows the artist really give a damn about the piece.
Thanks! I think he's Han Solo too, which makes it that much for fun.
