I wouldn't take it like that. It's not a reflection of a religious view but rather a more natural passionate view. For me the faces sublimely denote such passion, in a natural sense not spiritual sense, and juxtapose it against the supernatural setting. I love the piece :)
I was very lucky to get on Aype's list early on and he was very open to some of my strangest ideas. We agreed to pieces that covered a wide spectrum, mainstream characters, my original characters and some personal pieces like Coffy. As he completed pieces and his unique style became more evident, the collaborative aspect increased and the ideas became a bit more interesting and unique. I've enjoyed immensely the experience and recommend him, and his agent Aurelie, heartily. This was the last piece of our set and a great Holiday and New Year piece. While I am sorry that I seemed to have monopolized him, it also allowed him some greater exposure to the point that he is very, very much in demand now. So congrats to both of us :)

Lol. Thanks Davide. Well she is a female plant elemental so having beautiful breasts and nipples is definitely within the realm of the design. Aype just went a bit further and made them exceptional. Definite thanks to Aype for that artistic expression :)

I reached out to Tony and he mentioned that it was my piece so was glad I liked it :) That was a very nice surprise as I hadn't expected the piece at all given the circumstances. Obviously very happy with it.

When this became available, I just had to jump at the offer and grab it. Not a commission done explicitly for me but a beautiful rendition of the lovely Dejah as a published cover. Thanks Frederic. Initially I was thinking of mainstream characters but when I saw Aype's interpretation of Poison Ivy, I knew I would rather see his take on my original characters. Well that pretty much sums it up. If a piece of artwork can grab you and leave you hungry for more, then truly the artist has captured the essence of the character and moment. So glad you are intrigued by the underlying storyline.
