Early GL and Flash were the best! And first Sinestro to boot, love it!
Stellar gift, Michael! I can't agree with Mr. Finney on Murph's dominance in the first four panels... Kubert's classic layouts, including the Thanagarian star cruiser in panel 3, and particularly Hawk's head shot in panel 4 can't be dominated. Kubert's style doesn't "have to work its way into the art"....it's clearly evident from panel 1 on! Murph's inks do ad a lushness, tho, that makes this a powerful pairing! Outstanding, another to be proud of!
Easy to see why this made your top ten, Brian! Adkins is on par with Sal over Big John's Surfer pencils! Incredible!
