Glad you like! As I wrote in the description, Mike was ecstatic to be asked to draw these two, so see about getting your own some time! It really is cover worthy (though digital colors would be better for publication) Good to hear from another Phyla fan. She died as Martyr, so I'm sure she'll be back as soon as someone wants to use her
Nice one. Might want to add "Runaways" to the file name so more people will find it.
Unfortunately, (quoting his rep) "Craig wasn't sure, but he thinks it was a character design for a line of short-lived super-hero comics. Maybe for Malibu?" But I don't care, it's absolutely gorgeous whether it's been published or not :)
The heavyset zombie by Batgirl is by Chris Moreno
That's the default option when you upload anything, and I never bother to change it as I don't resell art very often. But yes, it will probably remain NFS unless I run into financial trouble some day.
They're three oil paintings by Glenn Fabry for the series Preacher. Fabry provided the covers for the entire series, and following it's end, a book called Preacher: Dead or Alive was published which collected all of his paintings for the series. These three paintings were the cover of that book. This picture is to showcase how the art is framed. Closer looks at the individual paintings can be found here: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryRoom.asp?GSub=47335
Actually, this is the one they used. Is was patched over the other one they felt was too risque
Dang, Bode is going to be huge some day, and I think that day will be very soon.
And the bow is back! Drop me a line if you're ever willing to part with this, Mark
Nice one! This is about as good an X-Force page as you can get. Your inks are perfect.
I remember reading this issue when I was a kid. Mark's stories were always my favorite growing up. Wonderful piece, and I'm sure it means more to you than it could possibly mean to anyone else :)
No, unfortunately I do not own the original for this. You'll notice this is in my gallery of Prints.
Wow, this is gorgeous. A simple head shot, yes, but the pencils are so tight, and the detail is extraordinary.
