this isn't by Mark Texeira. i'm almost positive it's by Caesar Antomattei.
NO ONE did strips better. Genius art and even better writing. everything else is a DISTANT second.
i agree. no one is questioning scott's mastery of inking. he himself has admitted to having issues nailing neal's approach. all in all he did an admirable job. i do not envy the challenge and pressure he was/is under from fans and pros alike. we're all adults here, bob said nothing vulgar.
looks like adam is using the brush less and less and more pen.
one of your stronger pieces IMO. the figure work flows very well, solid anatomy also. strong pose. all around solid piece!
i met eric last month at Heroes. really nice guy, very approachable. was fun to talk craft with a fellow artist. big fan.
wow, the OP's post was from 2006. this guy has been faking art for a long long time.
the best fantasy artist of all time. there will never be another like him. i never got to meet him, but i've wanted to for a long time. his art has been a source of inspiration and wonder to me and my own work ever since i first laid eyes on it. at least he is with Ellie now.
awesome, been following his work for years and years!
extremely impressive and informative. i'd have done the mist with my airbrush, i've seen you do background elements with one before, to throw something into soft focus. the hot sun burning away a recent rain (hey, rain forest people!) would leave some nice steam/mist. but then you'd have to put lingering raindrops on leaves etc.
did you scan the pencils? the pencils were breathtaking. i remember fawning over them last june.
one of mike's cooler pieces in my opinion. the color selection really works nicely with the autumn/halloween theme.
this is an amazing rough! when is the final going to be posted?? just teasing you...you're a god amongst men craig. amazing art...
i guess Robin got tired of sliding down the Bat-pole.
this was a lot of fun to work on! i learned a few tricks from you on this one as well. this piece was used heavily in the promotion of the character in many of their comics. it was also printed several times in Previews.
not only are you, in my opinion, one of the best pencillers/inkers in the industry, i think you're the best colorist. gorgeous work.
i saw him work on this in person, i didn't even notice the bush pin, lol that makes this piece 10 times better :) brilliant!
i talked to adam at this show, but i didn't see this! GODDAMN that's amazing!!!!!!!!!
lopresti is a solid pro, loved his work since sludge for malibu.
uh...shouldn't you add his AH! signature next to your sig?
good god this is probably the best thing i've ever seen buscema ever do.
