Thanks! I feel lucky getting this. Also he doesn't really do these brush sketches anymore, sadly.
I'm such a big fan of that book and also of bunnies, especially this cutie. And Vin knows that, I plan on doing a new kids comic with a bunny as a character too. ;)
As for sketchbooks, I am a big fan, this is my 3rd completed A4 Moleskine Watercolour book and I have recently started a 4th one. :D
Thanks for your comment, Marcus! ;)
I watched him paint this at Thought Bubble. :) Small world, awesome piece, congrats!
beautiful and totally unusual for a BoG it is a lighter touch. I honestly like it, sometimes it's more interesting what non-superhero artists come up with :)
wow, you bought this?! so awesome, I was going to bid too. congrats, awesome piece :)
Carlos is an art-god to me and honestly when I see this little thumbnail sized pic here next to the comment I'm writing right now it's already amazing. honestly, not many artists can do that, so that their art look awesome even in very very small size. amazing piece, certainly one of the very best BoGs I've seen.
Thony Silas is simply awesome and it looks like he just keeps getting better and better! :D
beautiful page man, I loved this issue. honestly probably one of the best team pages if not the best. congrats on acquiring it and nice detailed story with the piece too! :) thanks for sharing!
one of the best gargoyles ever. truly unique piece, I have no idea how you acquired it but simply wow :) I'm not the biggest Jim Lee fan but I can always appreciate an amazing BoG and he draws a great Batman as he demonstrated here! :D
thank you for your comment. sadly this has been stolen from my Polish friend and it never reached me. so these are the only photos in existent of the actual sketch. luckily for me another friend of mine got me a Gladstone Gander from Don and it may be even cooler than this one was ;)
A BoG by the legend... One of the best ever Batman artists of all time. I had the chance to meet him in person, real gentleman, amazing piece!
I like the perspective here. Not overly detailed, kinda sketchy, just how I like :)
really clean and would love to see a colored version by a 3D-type of colorist.
really cool perspective and such. I love how I can see his eyes in the lightning :)
Wow how many do you have by him? :) seriously, this one is really special.
the size and scale of this piece is honestly scary. very good addition to the collection :)
I love every inch of this. George really outdid himself, so many nods here and there! :)
majesticc Batman on majestic Gargoyle. I like how serious it all looks :D
great piece by a great artist. love Batman's pose the best, he looks so devastated somehow.
I'm not much into painted pieces but I have to agree this one is awesome :D

Aweeome addition, great symmetric capture with a touch of old Burnham style :)
Yanick is awesome, here he took the theme seriously. And even though I love his pencils, his inks are very good on this piece ;)
