What a beautiful page from a key moment in the Superman mythos! No doubt the half splash is iconic. I also had the privilege to get some art from Joe and got pages 20-21 from the same issue. Congrats on this amazing pick up!
I don't currently read the title, but I was told DC already came up with a global mind zap and reverted this outing. Only his close friends know because there were protected by a psychic barrier of some sort. Lois, the Kents, Jimmy and I think Perry still know. Go figure...
Still, I enjoyed this brief historic moment and loved the artwork by Reis & Prado. Looking at his DSP makes me happy!
Beautiful cover! Congratulations on this find!!
Beautiful splash! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Jason! It only took a few years for someone to noticed : )
I think Michael Gaydos art doesn't get too much recognition; it is almost an 'acquired taste'. I love his art and Alias is one of my favorite comic book reads ever.
Beautiful page!!! A great addition to you already outstanding collection!
Thank you Gal; It is in a good home. I would have thought the same if you had the art instead.

In his own way, Mike Royer is king as well. This very cool! Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful De Carlo inks over Aparo's pencils. This is one of the best examples of Aparo inkers out there. What a gem!
TERRIFIC!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Gal! I am also hoping that someday Butch gets to work regularly in one of the bat books.
Agreed. I really miss the Superman from the mid 90s when Mike Carlin ruled the Earth. No doubt this is a great forum to express opinions and share the love that we have for these characters and their creators. Thanks Matt & Gal!
Owning this gem is a true privilege. Spider-Woman is one of the best from the Bendis-Maleev team. Thanks for sharing!!!

This is wicked! Norm was a great Bat artist. Thanks for sharing.
¡Que buena página! Es interesante poder apreciar el detalle genuino del dibujo/entintado que a veces se pierde durante la colorización. Increíble obra del maestro Butch Guice. Te felicito por esta adquisición y gracias por compartirla en CAF.
This page also brings me back to my childhood and I am still mesmerized by the beautiful artwork as I was back then. There's no doubt that Aparo was a masterful inker back then. I think he is one of the greatest American artists along with Kirby, Adams, Swan, Steranko, Buscema & Ditko (to name a few). Congratulations on this acquisition!
A great gift indeed. This is a beautiful page showcasing two great talents: Barrows & Ferreira.
Outstanding example of Netzer's take on the Dark Knight! Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations Dietmar! This is another gem in your outstanding collection. Love the page without balloons. This is a GREAT example of sequential art in its purest form: at the service of storytelling. The 2nd and last panel are classic Batman poses. Great art team of Brown/Giordano.
This is awesome! I always have fond memories from this series; it was so much fun! Congratulations!
I recently ran into Mike Carlin at SDCC 2013 and asked him to sign a few pages from his time on the Superman books. He recognized his hand writing on the OA and said: "Do you remember Action #700? That was a GREAT issue!" Congratulations Gal!
Nice page! Great example of the beloved Kelley Jones & John Beatty run. Thanks for sharing!
Congratulations on these terrific pages. I remember these as part of the 'Legacy' storyline. Thanks for sharing.
