Here, I think, is one of the very best IDYL pages Jones did...well balanced, lush inks, featuring the brunette, pregnant Idyl...Jones is fascinated by the beauty of the female body...his renderings are at the same time pure, and yet also sensual...I am very happy to get this fine example of what is perhaps his signature work.

Great piece. Miss Jone' Idyl is what got me interested in her work from the National Lampoon days. I was fortunate enough to find a few Idyl books to drool over.

This is fantastic. His best ink period. Jones created a totally unique and original style of inking during this period. The 1970s were a wild time for original comic and fantasy artwork!

WOW that is absolutely amazing! im not partial to nude drawings but this one is just beautiful (i think because of the pure innocence of it & its very sweet)! congrats on an awsome piece! :-D

Simply put, that's a museum piece... And as for Jones, he truly is among the greatest contemporary painters/illustrators, since, as only the greatest can do, he was able to capture the essence of what he was drawing...
