DescriptionThis piece is a simple headshot of Doctor Octopus with a reflection of Spider-man being attacked in his glasses lenses. I do these types of sketches when I have, what I call, artist's block (You've heard of writer's block... Same thing!) of if I am wanting to clear the cobwebs after taking some time away from drawing and getting back into the swing of things. I have never done a lot of Doc Ock pieces, so I thought I'd go for broke and lay out a cool Doctor Octopus and Spidey! I always thought it was funny that a chubby guy in Elton John sunglasses and a Roy Orbison (?) or Moe haircut could be much of a threat to anyone... Much less Spider-man! But, as we have learned over the years, you should never judge a book by its cover. Doc Ock is a formidable adversary indeed! I hope you all like this one!Social/Sharing |
