I love pretty much everything relating to pop culture in the '80s - the music, the movies, the comics, the video games, the art! And few things scream art and design in the 1980s like the iconic work of Patrick Nagel, which I've loved since his art graced the cover of Duran Duran's Rio album (one of my very favorite pop culture images of any era!) While I'd be hungry like the wolf to own that original, this lovely example makes me very happy in its stead.

This piece was published as a pin-up in the July 1982 issue of Playboy and also reproduced on page 391 of The Illustrator in America 1860-2000 by Walt Reed (Society of Illustrators, 2001). It was formerly part of the legendary illustration art collection of the late Charles Martignette.

This is beautiful to see and I am glad to find her here. I am new to this site and run PatrickNagelArts on Instagram. Please find me there. I own a couple Nagel's myself. Your piece is a true beauty. If you ever want to sell let me know. I have buyers for her, that is if I don't keep her for myself. LOVE the pink. She is one of my favorites.
