Nice original 5 panel layout shows Superman facing Orion after vanquishing Kalibak. And I mean facing! Check out that close up of Orion. Mike even includes his version of the Kirby crackle via different techniques using wash.

Anything Perkins works on brings a unique new look to the tried and true heroes. Fantastic how he switches viewpoints on this and the 3rd panel Supermen are stunning graphic effects done by hand.

I agree about panel 3. Other artists might have done it digitally.
