Description

Mike Ploog painted this piece for a trading card set back in the 1990's. I had the pleasure of visiting him at his home in Glendale, CA while he worked for Dreamworks and this piece was framed on on one of his walls. He would not sell it at the time, but patience is a virtue (or virue) and Mike finally sold it to me earlier this year. I don't use the term grail very often, but this truly is a grail piece for my collection.

Very nice. I love all the detail on this piece, such as seeing the creature's breath in the cold winter air.

This scan is incredible but I was lucky enough to see it in person (thank you Jim) and it is stunning. Mike Ploog at his finest!
