Description

I absolutely loved Peter David's Hulk: The End and obviously Dale Keown's art in the series. When I saw the throwback to one of the more gruesome, but memorable, scenes as a cover of the 2020 Maestro series, I immediately fell in love with it. As the pages from Hulk: The End were increasingly hard to come by, this was a nice alternative.

Fantastic Maestro cover by Dale Keown! Boy I sure love Dale's work on the Hulk, he really knows how to draw a bulked-up Hulk that looks powerful enough to take on anyone or anything. This image of Maestro has that same powerful look Dale gives the Hulk. I love the veins on his neck that seem to pop out whenever the Hulk gets angry--And he's always angry. On this cover, Maestro seems about to be attacked by a massive swarm of irradiated insects! Lot of good superstrength will do him then! Fabulous cover, great pick-up, congrats!
