DescriptionHere are a series of cool design drawings done for Brave Story anime (2006) by Hitoshi Ueda. These would have been later worked up into full background paintings and can be seen in the first few minutes of the movie. Ueda is very well known in the anime world and has worked as a key animator on many films including Akira and Steam Boy with Otomo. There are 8 pieces in total and you will have to look at additional images for this and the other listing to see all 8 pieces. I was really impressed with the technicality and perspectives captured in addition to the artistic skill.Social/Sharing |

Very nice how it's planned to the minute details as a guide to the production. It takes a lot of industrial engineering and design to make this believable as a setting before the characters are to inhabit them.
