Description“I have come to give my gift. The gift of eternal night. Eternal Halloween. Eternal ME. HAHAHAHA!!”Closing out the holiday posts with this aptest (that a word? Whatever, I’m using it) of adds, the spirit of Halloween itself, Samhain! Picked this up from Kelly Williams at Heroes Con this year. Just flipping through some of his art, this one immediately gave me the nostalgic feels. Y’all watch the Real Ghostbusters as a kid?! Was a fun show I’d catch when I could, and though I don’t remember a ton of individual episodes, I remember this one. Fun character, fun design, creepy fun voice. And here Kelly with some great tones and that crackling semi-transparent energy. And I thought it was a cool nod how he wrote the season, episode number, and character up top :) And J. Michael Straczynski wrote the episode! I recently looked up the episode on YouTube and there was his name under the title “When Halloween Was Forever”. That dude’s had his hands in everything. LOVED that show as a kid, and totally remember this episode. Halloween Nostalgia! Powerful stuff. Very well-done piece, too. The light source work is sneaky good: Spooktacular!

I ain't 'fraid of no ghost! (Except for awesome, pumpkin-headed specters, that is... :) ). Wicked cool (emphasis on "wicked") pick up with some -great- Fall colors and creepy holiday attitude. Love the lightning effects and all the different blacks and greys; really nice tones (and are his gums a sickly green?!? Too cool!) Happy Halloween, K! Another terrific holiday add!

Of course I watched The Real Ghostbusters as a kid! Kelly is a great artist and this is a great character choice for him!

Although in this year 2023 I had no reason to celebrate Halloween, I admire the works created during this period. This one was very well crafted.
