Description

Wasn't the smoothest deal in the world for me, but it is here and that is all that really matters. I think it was one of the best of all the 1977 Red Sonja series covers. Yeah, even the Thorne covers. Except for that first issue, of course. That would pretty much be the grail for Red Sonja fans, (and me).

I loved this cover back when the book came out, and it's taken me, what, 35 years, to realize "oh, duh, Frazetta homage." Down to the perfect pelt on that mammoth.
