Description

I purchased this at the "Aldrich Confidential" art sale and summer soiree in 2012 at The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art (Ridgefield, CT). The sale included nearly 200 unique works for sale, each of which was displayed anonymously, with the artist's identity being revealed in a sealed envelope only after you paid and picked up the art on your way out. I had my eye out for the Gary Panter and was fortunate that I chose wisely!

Good pick because it was not obvious this drawing was from Panter hand and it's a really interesting one.
