Description

This piece took quite a journey to get to me. So I am especially THRILLED to be able to share it with you all.

I've been a huge fan of Gerardo's Sandoval's art for a long time, and his run on Venom was epic. This is a special DPS in that it is the first time Lee Price bonds with the Venom symbiote. With Lee Price, we got a host with a much darker and more violent background, AND a very cool new look for Venom.

Lee was an interesting concept to be the host of Venon, but the writting didn't help him out unfortunantly. However Gerardo's art was fantastic!

I was wondering where this DPS went. Very cool to see it pop up! I remember this being a very divisive entry in Venom lore, but the criticism ended when it came to the art. No denying Gerardo delivered a badass and aggressive energy with his Venom. Congrats!

Whoo! This one's +sharp+, Paul... and I don't just mean those inks! Venom just looks as dangerous as an unsheathed blade here, as though even the smallest touch to anyone or anything would cost them a limb of some kind. Bet this is just as wicked in person! I love how the dripping / swirling symbiote goo creates the borders for the inset panels, too - great design. This is one mean mama-jamma! Congrats, Paul - another great add!

First thing I thought when I saw this one was "labor of love"! Not heard to see why, right?! Feels like Gerardo poured his all into this one. Great uniquely designed Venom take exquisitely rendered in fine line detail. Congrats, man!
