Description

Oscar Jacobsson (1889-1945) was an influential Swedish cartoonist. He is best known for his silent comic strip Adamson, which he drew from 1920 until his death. After that, the series was continued by other artists. Jacobsson was also able to sell his series to America, where in later years it was also drawn by others. Adamson was an influential series also for early Finnish cartoonists.
