Description

Nick was originally drafted into the 66th Infantry Division, where he redesigned their shoulder patch. Later, Nick was transferred to the Third Armored Division as a tank driver.

Acquired from Nick's estate via ComicConnect.

Thank you for sharing this photo, Will! He experienced the horrors of war on the front line of the liberation of Europe. On a lighter note, he joked that he left behind plenty of signs of his poor tank driving on European architecture!
