Description

Finally, I was able to obtain a Friday the 13th daily! Churchy's fear of the 13th is one of the longest running gags in the Pogo strip. This one wraps up a cute storyline which is reprinted in the "Pogo's Body Politic" paperback. To my surprise, the wonderful final panel was also used on the dedication page of this book. The book was published in 1976 after Walt Kelly's death, but his widow Selby edited the book and I suspect this panel must have been a favorite of hers.
