Description

First published in Topolino magazine #1335, "Paperino e il diabolico ultrasuono" is a story written and illustrated by the Italian Disney Master Giovan Battista Carpi where, to not disfigure with his nephews, Donald is committed to studying the violin but with disastrous results. Gyro Gearloose then gives him an instrument that plays by itself, which he can perform in a concert, but Huey, Dewey, and Louie do not approve of cheating.

This is page 25, where Donald playing the violin seems effective against termites.

If you ask me, Carpi's style in the 70s and 80s was his very best and was close to my idea of Disney perfection. His Donald is amazing.
