DescriptionAnother acquisition from a Toronto comic convention charity auction. This 2003 page was crafted by Stewart before he really came into his own with such projects as The Other Side and The Manhattan Guardian.There are so many things I love about this page. The 16-panel grid (well, 12 panels on a 16-panel grid) makes for a lot of storytelling. I always prefer pages with lots of panels over just a few or splashes. The page also has a cool coloring note in the margin at the left, and at the top right corner, one can see where Stewart either disposed of excess ink or ensured the flow was right. Social/Sharing |

Great page! I remember this scene, and enjoyed the pacing and the banter between Selina's two friends.

Thanks, Anthony. I know collectors often seek splashy, action-oriented pages, but I honestly enjoy dense, dialogue-driven scenes.
