I'm just realizing that my last three cover posts are all from 1995. Just kinda happened.

Anyway, here is a fun 'Lobo City' cover that is an obvious swipe of Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame To Kill For #1.

Main title Lobo covers are tough to come by, so I was really happy to pick this one up.

And thus concludes my DC Week of posts. Next week --- all Squirrel Girl. Just kidding. Haven't decided yet ...

Fits Lobo's renegade atititude to tackle and swipe Miller's most recent memorable cover and not give 2 sneezes about it. Double take worthy! All that on the slightly extra sized DC artboard!

Brilliant and hilarious homage. I'm just surprised that more people haven't swiped this cover, it's such a classic.

Wow, I've never seen this cover before! Holy crap, after 26 years in existence, and being an homage to such a beautiful and classic cover by Miller, I'm in absolute disbelief that I've never seen the cover to this comic until just now. So great, man! Beautiful contrast and I love the shadow being cast by Lobo!

The Main Man! Fracking awesome! And that Sin City noir vibe is so killer here. I LOVED Semeiks runs on Lobo and Demon (and the cross-overs), and I remember this homage cover very well. You have the coolest stuff, Paul. :) Huge Fracking Congrats!
