Description

Pencil and inked on 24x16 Bristol, this is page 20 from the homage anniversary issue of GI Joe 21, Silent Interlude. For each of the pages and the cover and artist was selected to reinvent the corresponding page to the original issue. Jay Sullivan drew the page while his daughter jumps in on the inking chores. The result is a gorgeous page featuring Snake Eyes, Scarlett, and Storm Shadow in one of the more pivotal sequences in the book. The final page featured a slight change of Scarlett's facial expression which were drawn and then photoshopped in later. When I bought the page, Jay Sullivan was nice enough to add them to the package. I am uploading the original page as drawn here to CAF. If I can figure out how to upload additional images I will upload the Scarlett "heads" as well.

This one is definitely in the keeper NFS collection. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I do. If Jay happens to see this, thanks again.
