Description

Over the summer, artist Jay Sullivan had offered the components that made up the cover to GI Joe 300 (Cover A) with each piece being offered through private auction. I was very pleased to win the six pieces that I did. Each of the characters was fully drawn and inked as a standalone image and later scanned and pieced together with everyone else for the crowd scene. As of now, the cover holds the record for most individual characters on a comic book cover standing at 313. As a GI Joe fan, I am proud to take home some of the key pieces. For each of the six pieces, I have scanned the art, as well as the certificate and image from the final cover. Each image is on 8.5" x 11" 70lb paper stock.

On a side note, Sullivan packaged all six of my winning pieces of art in a "Top Secret" envelope. I have scanned the front and back of that as well. Here is Snake Eyes. I mean if you are going to go for the cover... might as well go for one of the most important characters.
