I picked this up during NYCC. Those that know me, know I love GI Joe art which is pretty evident from the size of this gallery. Robert Atkins was not in artist Alley but up on the main floor at table 3557 so when I receive a text from a friend that he was attending the show and had some pages for sale I immediately took a trip back upstairs.

I picked up the original pencils of the splash from GI Joe 275 as well as the page with the inks over blueline that his brother inked. The splash features everyone's Zartan and Buzzer.

He made me an offer to take both pages that I could not turn down. Nothing's been really "hitting me" this year so I have been very selective and I did not want to just buy something to buy it. This was an immediate purchase. I really liked this duo of pages featuring such a classic character. He then threw in the original comic and autographed the page in the book that I purchased.

I'm digging it.

Yo joe, you're killing me, co-bruh. This is a close representation of my all-too-nostalgic childhood Grail cover, G.I. Joe: ARAH #32, by Frank Springer. I would've striked like a cobra, too, if I had the opportunity. Congrats!
