I'd enjoyed putting together the "last issue spectacular" covers that Mitch did for me so much that I couldn't help but think about building out that 80's Crusaders universe.

Adam's a -really- great artist. That kind of artist where I'm stuck just not knowing how he hasn't broken into the big time yet. Just loved the Hawkwoman / Fly-Girl commission he did for me and when this cover popped into my head it was easy for me to see him as the right artist. The faces here are perfect. The determination on the Cobra's face and the anger on the Hood's. Nice use of shadow on the Cobra's mask. Plus how can you not love touch of having the Black Hood's right gun being empty. I will definitely be going back for more from Adam.

I remember back in the 70's, and even the 80's, often times after the big storyline would finish there'd be that single stand alone issue, often by a guest artist. Seemed like a nice fit here. A pause before he next "epic". As always, I hope Crusaders fans approve :)

A single issue spotlight on the Black Hood. Investigating a series of troubling execution style murders the Black Hood finds none other than the mysterious Green Cobra to be behind the killings! Can the Hood stop the Cobra's bloody vengeance? And, more importantly, can he keep himself from being possessed by the Cobra's spirit?

I like this artist. Nice simple set up kevin, really catches the eye. Kudos to Chris Ivy on the lettering.

Your ability to seek out and find untapped talent is incredible. I'd buy this comic in a minute.
