Description

More amazing pencils from Philippine master Julius Gopez. I'm astounded that Julius isn't one of the most recognized artists in the comic art world because his talent level is truly incredible. Look at the detail in the attached photo. This page has been darkened to show the detail better from his original pencils.

This scene portrays Harrow, Leader of the Tower, attacking The Phantom King (Xa-du, the first criminal to ever to be exiled to the Phantom Zone) so he can clear the atmosphere of deadly Kryptonite particles which are causing Superman to turn into Doomsday. The artwork is part of the "Superman:Doomed" story arc that spans 18 different books that were published in 2014.
