Description

A striking movie poster original from the 1966 spy thriller "OSS 117: Mission to Tokyo" ("Atout coeur � Tokyo pour OSS 117" in France and "OSS 117 A Tokyo si muore" in Italy) starring Frederick Stafford and Marina Vlady. Given how closely Stafford resembles Sean Connery in the painting, it could almost pass for a movie poster from the Japan-set 007 film "You Only Live Twice"! Anyway, being a huge fan of '60s-era spy series (James Bond, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Mission: Impossible, etc.), the subject matter really appealed to me, and I was thrilled to pick up this dramatic example from Graphic Collectibles at the San Diego Comic-Con in 2016.
