Description"She just finshed drawing her in Secret Six and She will draw her in Blackest Night Wonder Woman (hopefully not for the last time...there are rumors of WW's demise during Blackest Night--hope not, the woman doesn't seem to get a break in crisises)....Nicola Scott for me is fast becoming an iconic artist for the Amazing Amazon.This piece speaks for itself. Gail Simone when she looked around all the art that day...She, like many others, simply said "wow". I love that she did the entire work in blue pencil and I love the detail of the hair and the strength of her stance...This for me was the grail of Wonder Woman Day....Thanks Nicola for contributing to such a wonderful cause and for putting your heart into this gorgeous piece...it really communicated to all who admired it that day...I felt so fortunate to be the winner and am honored to be the caretaker of this work....I am mesmerized by the hair curls alone ---Diana has never looked more stunning!!!" ---written 2009 Social/Sharing |
