Zounds!  What a beautiful piece.  Yeah, the Rat here definitely puts the "pest" in pestilence, for sure...  But a great, intriguing villain in a super fun run of stories, brought to life (er, sort of...? ;) ) by the inimitable Mike Perkins.  I love how "itchy" the jagged blacks in panels 2 and 3 make the piece feel.  With his incredible skill with ink (and his obvious fearlessness to slosh it around a little bit) Mike is perfectly equipped to render the Rat of 12 Plagues and make every page he's on feel that much creepier.  Beautiful page, Ruben - thank you for sharing another from your Iron Fist trove! :)

Does Frankenstein know Rat of 12 Plagues stole his fur vest? K'un Lun villains and heroes have the best names. You could actually have a battle between Rat of 12 Plagues and Fat Cobra. And, who calls themselves fat? A martial artist from K'un Lun realm that could kick your ass 12 ways from Sunday, that's who, just like the sick rat guy eating necks. Great page, Rubén. Remind Mr Perkins to save a drop of ink or two for other artists. ;) Congrats!

mike Perkins continues to shine with his workbeautiful and horrorific at the same time. many people didn't knoe the rat of twelve Plagues was the fifth member of the original Rat Pack  but Frank Sinatra never liked him and always sent him out for beer and condoms  when they had their "special" parties. Frank then made him stand face to the wall until after they had l long left. if you look at the list of his victims  all were named :Frank,Sammy. Dean or Jerry. coincidence I think not.

More meat, more fuel, this guy is not messing around! Perkins does a good job capturing how nasty this guy is, and it does not take many panels. Where is Master Splinter when you need him?!?

Yikes!  Scary dude, scary page!  Love the horror bent, top to bottom.  I thought zombie vampire right when I saw it.  And also looking forward to Fist taking him out :)  Crazy realistic panel up top, and that bottom shot...like the Rat's comin' right for you!  Better summon my chi up quick style :)  Congrats!
