DescriptionFOR ODIN! FOR ASGARD! The first time I saw it, this cover blew me away with its sheer explosive power. A gigantic image of Thor running right towards the reader, a determined look on his face and the mystical hammer Mjolnir in his hand. Directly behind him are his closest companions, the Warriors Three--Fandral the Fair, Hogun the Grim and Volstagg the Vast. It's one of those classic images that truly define the character. The incomparable Gil Kane handled the pencils here, and the legendary Joe Sinnott supplied the inks. IMHO, it's one of the most iconic images of Thor ever.Social/Sharing |

Wow, one of the best cover shots of Thor ever! Love the charaging pose and his expression and the fact you've got the Warriors Three flanking is a nice bonus! Congrats!

Kane must be the master of Marvel's BA covers, and this is a prime example. Excellent, museum quality!

Goodness gracious! Just look at those gorgeous Sinnott inks! How proud and happy you must be to have such a special piece of the amazing legacy these two comic legends have left. You've got a lot of pieces that I'm jealous of, but maybe none more so than this. Congratulations my friend. Hope you enjoy this one for years and years.

Bill, another stunner! Gil Kane is a god to me. Yes, this is definitely one of the best renditions of Thor.. ever! and The Warriors 3 too! wow, man, simply astounding!

I believe that something like this, is a grail something like for me for example painted LOBO by BIZ :). I wish I could fully appreciate the added value of nostalgy.... but I definitelly can appreciate the historical/artistic value. WIthout the doubts. Huge congratulations !

This is a great example of why Gil Kane is one of the greatest Marvel cover artists of all time--such an explosive composition and dynamic figurework. And love the super-precise inks of Sinnott on this piece, everything pops to an extra degree. The logo, the copy, the Kirby crackle--it's all awesome. Love it--congrats!
